Tribal Camps


Tribal Camp in a brand new camp experience here at Blue Grass Christian Camp.

Experience the fun and excitement of Christian camping in a whole new way a two week camp adventure at Blue Grass Christian Camp, Tribal camp. Exciting trips, adventure, and lots of fun mixed in with Christian values and lessons. The hand picked staff will become role models your kids will talk about all year long. All of this will take place in our out camp area and replace the previous Outcamp weeks. Space is limited to 16 boys and 16 girls, so donÕt delay in registering. One week option is available.

Junior session is a two-week long, twenty-four hour a day adventure. Our Junior campers need a lot of reassurance and unconditional love, and that is exactly what our staff will provide. It is, for many kids, their first time away from home and therefore, Christ-like patience and sensitivity are important attributes our staff will exhibit. Tribal camp is filled with games and activities, sincere friends, and hugs and laughter everywhere. Your junior camper will leave with a refreshing look of what it means to be a true Christian, and not just a shell of a living person. The staff is committed to enhancing and encouraging the campers in their walk with Christ by being really and investing in each camper.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow once said, "Ah, how good it feels to be in the hand of an old friend." By the end of the two week session for middle school campers they will be able to say they have old friends. The middle school years can be a turbulent roller coaster ride of peer pressure and consequences. Let the staff of Tribal camp show you how to ride the roller coaster as a Christian. The weeks will be filled with fun, games, and activities and sharing of how to live a Christian life in today's society.

Why two-weeks? A one week sessions is over by the time most campers adjust to the routine. Most campers do not open up to being teachable until after about 4 days. With a two week session the staff and campers get to know one another enough to truly open up and share. Real teachable moments occur after the camper has learned to trust the staff and become themselves.

Each session has two trips built into them. The campers will get an opportunity to go off camp and experience some of the wonders of nature here in Kentucky. Those staying the full two weeks will get a third trip on Saturday that will be a fun filled relaxing adventure.
